Background: Born and raised in Englewood, Chicago, Jade's mother was a prostitute. Her mother didn't even know who her father was, much less Jade. Jade raised herself, her mother always being out on 'business'. She put herself through school, woke herself up, and lived a bit of a life of crime. One of Jade's favorite things was sword play, not fencing, but with actual swords, not rapiers. Jade now thinks that she loved sword play so much because of the 'sharp point resting on her soul'. 

Jade discovered her ability to transform into weapon, she did everything that she could to get admitted into the DWMA. There, no one was able to wield her until she met Floor.

Fighting Style: Jade's fighting style is close combat and sword play. She's not exactly quick on her feet, but she's solid and steady, allowing her to parry her enemies strong attacks. She holds her sword in her left hand and blows jabs to the person with her right. She will parry a sword attack and then go in for a jab to the shoulder or elbow.
